The Show
Isolate yourself from technicalities
Reverse the world, and defy gravity
Homeless from her heart, he suffers from depravity
Distance for a soul is seen but nothing as a travesty
Sweet tooth for love, better hope you don't have a cavity.
The rebound is made to blind thee
Mask the truth, but I guess it's best for closed eyes, than to see
A caged bird without wings, doesn't mean it isn't free
Karma is a bitch, but in the end he won't forget she, me, we.
Together, we are gone, call us the absentee.
If it's not a comedy, then it's a tragedy
Undone actions, no change in time, where is the return key?
The show has already started, there is no readmission fee.
I am the award, so I guess he was the nominee.

Today's Truth
Mellow her soul
Door locked
Lack of money for dream’s toll
Smothered screams,
she is shocked
Illuminating
tomorrow’s lies
With today’s truth
Kissed pursed lips
upon disguise
Words forced out
between yesterday’s youth
Mock the widow
Resistance, trapped
in her web
No cries though
Churned in the tide’s
ebb
Burned blood and
healed scar
Standards failed in
her pursuit
Argued her point, she has balanced the bar?
Lack of direction,
there is no route
No roots to ground
her tree
Understanding in
arrangement
Calling out to lost
rebels, hear their plea
Loss of humanity, our
estrangement
Kill one bird with
two stones
Call it immorally
wrong
Mark the city limits
with summoned bones
No categories, where
does moral belong?
She accepts her repeated reflection
Death of old
perceptions
A mirror can’t see
its own faults, no rejection
Creations of the
mind, illusionistic conceptions
Beneath the earth,
her soul may lie
Knelt to the ground,
she prays to God
Farewell to the
present, waters run dry
Pious intentions, we
shall applaud.

Paragraph
I laugh at the
ellipsis
That draws a division
between two
Once connected points
I read the same
sentence
Over and over
Attempting to
understand
A hopeless idea
The point keeps going
Back to what it once
knew
Silly.
Worthless.
It should be deleted.
Erased.
The writer entices me
With provoked
emotions
From a statement that
Seems to stab at my
heart
I, the other point,
Strive to move
forward down the page,
Progressing farther
and farther away,
From the one point
that seems to dwell
In past paragraphs,
past pages, past ideas,
Making no changes.
I whirl away in my
own thoughts
Arguing for what
propels me forward
The writer stops his
pen
And I am stagnant.
On the page, I
linger.
A single point.
A single statement.
Questioning my existence.
The writer writes.
But I am still
stopped.
While the other
point,
Seems to fall through
the pages
Falling out of his
own existence
Falling into fears
Of not being
understood
Of not making
changes.
I glance.
I think.
But I let it all fall
away with him.
Through the pages
Into empty space
I carry on.
Is this the end?
The end of the page
that I am approaching?
I want so bad for it
to be the end
To know that there is
a definite decision
To know that the
pages will be shaped by my very meaning
But the writer,
Puts three dots after
my point has been made.
An ellipsis...
To show the continual
progression of a point
The division has
turned into a gap between
The two points,
But the writer makes
me go on
For what I don’t
know,
But I am bound by
this ellipsis,
To go beyond what I
used to know,
Into a place of
temporary solitude...
Self
I have waved it
behind my mask
Disguising my
inhibitions
Prohibiting my past
to prevail
I have called on His
ease
To heal what could
not be understood
Felt beneath the
surface
Waves over my head
But I no longer drown
Detached, separated,
divided
Better now than later
I have cradled that
hope in my heart
For a time that has
caused it to grow stale
I have not won
tangible things
But I have won
control over the emotions
The thoughts
The anger
That I once felt
Bridges used to
separate me,
But now they connect
me to
A self that is better
than what I used to be

Streets
I spit at the ground
In utter disgust
But my reflection was
found
Within the sidewalk’s
trust
Concrete warmed my
fears
Dirt in the
storm-drain of my heart
Same direction for a
few years
Homeless man’s dreams
lying in a cart
Smoke of my past
exiting the sewer
Billboards could not
capture the ad
Beckoning me here, I
won’t let myself be lured
I shake the lies,
protection like steel clad
21st, 20th, then back up your street
Windows close to keep
your cold out
31st and
Henry, the 10th suite
Cab drives away, and
heals the doubt
I spit at the ground
In utter disgust
But my reflection was
found
Within the sidewalk’s
trust

These Voices
I don't know, I guess my hopes are starting to fade.
I feel like I'm stuck in this place.
This dark place.
A rut.
A critical analysis of...
Everything has changed.
Maybe I'm going mad.
But I just want what I have been dreaming for a while now,
To become reality.
I feel like I am waiting for something that will never happen.
I hear these voices in every cell of my body, telling me to...
But I can't?
Should I?
These voices contradict each other.
So I'm just confused.
I wish you understood.
Something in me is screaming out to you.
To me..
But you can't hear,
I can't hear.
We must be deaf, together.
Together?
Maybe.
I feel like I'm stuck in this place.
This dark place.

Expectations and Limitations
It's not enough just to breathe on water, and hope it turns into an ocean.
It's enough just to touch silver, and expect it to turn to gold.
It's not enough for the sun to rise in the sky, and stay there just for a day.
It's not enough for the moon to change phases, but to always be labeled as full.
It's not enough for a mind to think positive thoughts, and never to act on them.
It's not enough for the dreams of tomorrow, to be kept dormant in today.
It's not enough for love to be put into words, but never existent in the soul, in the heart, and in the actions.
It's not enough just for the world, to remain as the world, there are consequences, expectations, and limitations that must be compensated for.
It's not enough anymore.

Night sky
Full moon.
That's probably why everyone was acting crazy today.
The sunset was beautiful.
I think I'll head to the beach tonight and watch the stars,
With the warm spring breeze lingering on my skin.

The World's Cry on My Shoulder
The world's cry on my shoulder
God took his hands and attempted to mold her
But she ran away, wailing to the wind
Regrets in dancing with the devil for an unpolished sin
They say love your enemies, as if y'all were a unit
Attaching strings to your heart?
Make sure you tune it
Searching the closet for your skeletons
But make sure you know which way the river has ran, before it runs
He begs for her sympathy
My heart only holds emotions of antipathy
Multiple bullet wounds to the heart, there's no need for a shield
I kept a secret, but does that mean my lips are sealed?
Interchange the game, replace the blame
Equivalency to an unmarked name
You see, the world has committed its own assassinations
But a kid sees no differences, so he looks with fascination
Funny how the sun can rise on my side, and fall on his
No explanation, so it's best to see it for what it is
Stepping my bloody feet on the holy ground
Wondering as if lost, but walking to be found
She believed in him & he ended up creating his own demise
There is nothing left, game over, he's all out of tries
So look to the skies, because this is a dream deferred
Living over dying is what she preferred
She said screw the past and give me the present
No feeling behind it, but he knows she meant it
So place your thoughts beyond what is known
Because what is seen, is often not shown
But as the tears fall, the world grows older
So I stood up and said, "here, use my shoulder"
God took his hands and attempted to mold her
But she ran away, wailing to the wind

Dream
I had a dream of me riding a beautiful, strong black horse.
But later in the dream, I approached a yard full of caskets.
According to the internet this means, "To see a black or dark horse in your dream signifies mystery, wildness, and the unknown. You are taking a chance or a gamble at some unknown situation. It may even refer to occult forces."
"Underlying sexual desire: sexual prowess"
and...
"To see a casket in your dream indicates that it is time to end a situation or relationship. Additionally, it symbolizes a completion of a project or lifestyle and a beginning of another. In this regards, this symbol may represent new opportunities."
I suppose I need to listen to my dreams.

Book of Ruth: Chapter 2: Verse 1
I thought this was interesting.
Boaz said of Ruth, "I'm attracted to her character."
Not her looks.
Not her curves.
But her character.

Love is a War
Love is a war.
Every day you have to fight for the ones you love.
There is no rest.
There is no giving up.
But before the war begins, you better hope they are worth fighting for until the end.

Dandelion Reverie
Dandelion reverie
Lined on his heart,
Each petal is crucial
A thread lining his stamen
With the core of the world,
Fruit to bear, lingering,
On a single stem
Wind breaks the day,
And chills the night
An exchange of time,
Captions this measure
Dandelion reverie
Clothed his skin
Radiating on her soul
A feather-weight eminence
Euphoric explication
Breathing her predilection
He withers in the unknown
Pollinating her passion
Liberation in the vast
But he is only but a flower
And she, the earth of his ravage
Lined on his heart,
Each petal is crucial

Demise of Seduction
Darkness of the night,
Within the sky.
You and I, lie
We lie.
Die.
Revived.
Whispers couldn't fulfill,
Your wonders
You plunder.
No hesitation,
Footsteps, as my own.
No picture,
No valor to be shown.
Cowardice ways,
The waves, crashing down,
In his plight,
Lack of might,
So much spite,
Pray to your god,
Because Mine has already saved me,
He, thee, I, thy
Thine, has not forsaken,
My faith has not been shaken,
Devil in your dreams
Demons in your words,
A fool's heart, only appears,
As it seems.
But who are you to call on,
When you are alone?
No wings, you have not flown
You do not fly
Your heart bleeds, but don't be shy
You're almighty?
You're so great?
Call down that ego,
Cast it within the shadows,
Follow your footsteps into the darkness
Because,
Darkness of the night,
Within the sky,
You and I, do not lie
But you lie,
Die.
Not revived.
No faith.
You are not saved.
Serpents venom in your blood.
Poison to yourself.
Self-destruction.
Your own demise of seduction.
Shed your skin,
Because for you,
Your own demons on the outside,
Will always find a way in.
Within the sky.
You and I, lie
We lie.

All three sisters.
Beautiful palm trees.
Me posing in the penthouse lobby.
Pose.
<3
Just looking out beyond...
Inside the penthouse with some friends.
Hall way.
Inside of my hotel.
Sometimes, you just got to smile.
Hide and go seek.
I found you...
:)

On the beach.

My strawberry mojito <3

Sippin.
This guy on the sax was amazing. I bought his CD.

Step Aside
The tree will never grow if one constantly stands in front of it, giving it darkness but no light.
Remain
It's not enough to wait on tomorrow,
For the chances that could have come today.
A possibility that has dug it's feet far enough,
Into a turmulous understanding.
Bringing peace into the mind,
It'll illeviate the stress,
Of those fatal absences,
Sweet lips of love's caress.
No point in trying to learn,
In trying to believe,
Emotions tend to deceive,
So open your eyes,
And lend me your ears,
A shoulder left to lean on,
And a heart's sleeve to dry my tears.
Welcome to Miami
In Miami for Spring Break.
It's amazing.
I could most definitely live here.
Hot weather.
Handsome white & latino men.
Beaches.
Clubs.
Drinks.
Shopping.
Culture.
Diversity.
I'll post some pictures soon :)

A Reverse to the "Patriarchs"
Tupac Shakur-Keep Ya Head Up
He wrote this in the '90s and this still applies today.
And since we all came from a woman
Got our name from a woman and our game from a woman
I wonder why we take from our women
Why we rape our women, do we hate our women?
I think it's time to kill for our women
Time to heal our women, be real to our women
So will the real men get up

An Angel
The day after my car accident,
I went with my friend to get her oil change.
A little girl was in there waiting with her mom.
But as soon as I got into the waiting room,
She gave me this faint smile, this look, like she knew me.
Like she understood what happened last night.
She then slowly came up to me, and gently touched my left leg.
I was wearing ripped jeans, so I thought she just liked the texture of it.
But it occurred to me, that my left leg was the leg that was hurt in the accident.
When, I was leaving, she waved good-bye to me with a smile.
I waved back, and gave her a smile, as well.
The second the car was about to pull off, I looked back,
And she put her arms out to me, as if to be saying, "Come with me..."
That was the day, I saw an angel.

A Poem
This poem is from the book Don Quijote by Miguel De Cervantes.
This poem describes some of what has been in my mind, as of lately.
So, I can directly relate to this.
Listen...
Just as everything fades away
In the end, so Fortune's favors
Ebbed and died, trickled slowly,
To nothing, shaded
And forever old.
I've groveled here at Fortune's feet
For centuries, praying for grace;
Oh let me see some newborn sweetness
Shine in her face,
Rise up complete.
I long for nothing more, no glory,
No joy, no other victory,
No burning triumph, no eternal story,
But only the history
That was, and destroyed me.
Fortune, oh let me be there again,
And soon, and this searing heat,
This pressing pain, will be soothed and the end
Will be endlessly sweet
And all complete.
But I want too much, for nothing and no one
Can restore what's disappeared;
Time never turns, it's never been done;
No past reappears,
No history draws near.
Time runs and leaps, flies quickly by,
And never turns back, and we're wrong
To beg it to stop, to return: the sky
Of yesterday is gone
Like yesterday's song.
My life is perpetual confusion, hoping
And fearing, first hope, then fear
Forever believing that Death's stern joke
Is better than tears
Over long-dread years.
But still, as I long for this to be done,
I know that what I possess
Is better than anything yet to be won
In that unknown emptiness
Still to come.

Until He Rises
Drench me with those covers
Spread your arms amongst my skin
Let your whispers caress my soul
Never felt so close to warm blood
Shivers to bid your heart's desires
I'll remember your heart's calling
For me, I long for the chills
That tomorrow couldn't bring
New found love, your eyes
Match with mine
No recollection of yesterday
We part past's ways with the
Hopes of tomorrow
A sweet breath of wine
No shadowed ways,
Some baggage to be left unclaimed
Untamed, unshamed, I cannot blaim
Love's lust for beauty's mane
Karma claims her vengeance
And the wind's howl screams no longer
Tipsy skies, to our demise
We lay in bed until the sun proclaims our sighs
Spread your arms amongst my skin
Let your whispers caress my soul
Never felt so close to warm blood
Shivers to bid your heart's desires
I'll remember your heart's calling
For me, I long for the chills
That tomorrow couldn't bring
New found love, your eyes
